Community Connectors kick off Forward OP outreach

By December 5, 2017 News

Forward OP is about imagining the future of our community; and in order to achieve our best, most inclusive vision we need everyone to get involved. On November 15, over 50 “Community Connectors” met to learn about Forward OP and find out what they can do to help spread the word about the effort. The attendees were invited to the meeting because of their leadership in the community and connections to important networks that represent the diversity of Overland Park’s residents. Each Community Connector received an outreach toolkit containing resources such as digital and printed flyers, answers to common questions, and more so they can help get the information out to all corners of the community and make sure that participating in this process is a choice for anyone who is interested.

We’re grateful to everyone who came to the meeting and is ready to get involved. If you meet one of our Community Connectors, ask them how you can get involved in Forward OP!
